Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Sales Manager to a large fintech company. The interim Sales manager Sweden is a senior leadership role, responsible for all sales activities in the Swedish market, accountable for revenue and profitability targets and sits in the Swedish leadership team. This role requires both strategic thinking and strong sales leadership to build and lead a high-performing Key Account Manager team focused on larger merchants.
Key responsibilities:
• Developing and executing the sales strategy for Sweden aligned with company goals.
• Define and execute segmentation and vertical strategy with focus on larger
merchants.
• Represent sales input in cross-functional planning processes with Product,
Marketing, and Finance.
• Set and drive the end-to-end go-to-market process, for new customer demands and market opportunities.
• Own and continuously develop the sales process framework and toolkit to support
the sales team.
• Analyze sales performance, market trends and competitor landscape to propose.
improvements and growth opportunities in Sweden.
• Drive business development and partnership initiative.
• Drive a high-performance culture using data driven approach.
Requirements:
• Minimum 15+ years of experience in sales, with at least 7 years in senior leadership.

• Bachelor or master’s university degree.
• Experience with payment solutions and fintech.
• Proven track record of leading and scaling sales organizations.
• Proven experience in B2B sales environments targeting mid-to-large merchants.
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, combined with hands-on ability.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence without mandate.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, proactive, and solutions-oriented.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
