Interim Finance Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an Interim Finance Manager for a company in the entertainment industry in Stockholm.
As a Finance Manager, you will support the finance department with a focus on group consolidation, financial reporting, and the implementation of IFRS 18.
This is a full-time position starting around the turn of the year and lasting approximately six months.
Main duties:
- Consolidated Financial Statements & Financial Reporting: Prepare and ensure the quality of interim reports and annual reports in accordance with IFRS for a publicly traded company. Be responsible for group consolidation and handle eliminations and cash flow.
- Group Tax & Structural Issues: Be responsible for tax calculations, tax returns, and tax losses, and provide support on issues related to tax structure and the simplification of the corporate structure.
- Valuations & Financial Reporting Issues: Conduct impairment tests for intangible assets and for investments in subsidiaries/intercompany transactions within the group
- Implementation of IFRS 18: Participate in and carry out the implementation of IFRS 18.
- ESEF Reporting: Be responsible for and manage the labeling of the annual report in accordance with applicable ESEF regulations.
To be eligible for the role:
We are looking for a self-motivated, analytical, and organized finance manager with experience maintaining high-quality results in an international, publicly traded environment.
- Extensive experience in group accounting and consolidation, as well as the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements for a publicly traded company.
- A solid understanding of corporate taxation, tax returns, and loss carryforwards, preferably with experience in international corporate structures.
- Expertise in IFRS (particularly IFRS 16)
- Experience with ESEF tagging of annual reports.
- Experience with established group consolidation systems.
About the process
- This is a full-time position based at the company's headquarters in Stockholm.
- The assignment is expected to last approximately 6 months, starting around the turn of the year.
