Interim Senior Payroll Specialist
Interim Search has been entrusted with recruiting an Interim Senior Payroll Specialist for a company with approximately 150 employees and revenue of around 350 MSEK. The company is part of a strong international group with its own production and sales operations in Sweden. The client is seeking a confident specialist who can take overall responsibility for the payroll process while also contributing advanced system expertise in Flex and providing support on HR and finance-related matters.
Main duties:
- Be responsible for the entire payroll process, from payroll preparation to payment.
- Prepare the data needed for monthly financial statements and handle payroll-related reporting, such as to Fora and Collectum.
- Monitor and analyze payroll-related costs, investigate discrepancies, and respond to inquiries from the finance department.
- Ensure that Flex is used effectively and contribute to the further development of the system's functionality and operational methods.
- Provide support for HR and development projects related to Flex, including document management, employee reviews, salary surveys, and work related to the Pay Directive.
- Generate reports, statistics, and other HR-related metrics in Flex.
To be eligible for the role:
- Several years of experience in specialized and independent payroll work.
- Proven and solid experience with Flex, both as a user and in developing the system's workflow and functionality.
- A solid understanding of accounting and financial flows related to payroll.
- Experience working closely with Finance and HR.
- Experience working with reporting, statistics, and follow-up.
- Experience with HR-related projects and processes.
- Experience working with the new Pay Directive is a plus.
- A driver's license is required, as travel to other locations may be necessary
- Be able to work in the office a few days a week.
About the process
The assignment is expected to last approximately 6 months, beginning in mid-October. Presentations to the client will take place on an ongoing basis.
