Interim Maintenance Manager
Interim Search has been entrusted with the task of appointing an interim Maintenance Manager for a manufacturing company with annual revenue of approximately 2 mdsek.
The position is responsible for ensuring safe, stable, and cost-effective operations by leading, managing, and developing the maintenance organization. In addition, the incumbent will play a vital role in developing an employee within the organization who will potentially take over as the permanent Maintenance Manager in the future.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Overall responsibility for the maintenance organization's performance.
- Ensure high availability and operational reliability.
- Be responsible for strategy, the budget, and resource allocation.
- Ensure an effective structure for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Ensure collaboration with production and other departments
- Lead and develop managers who report directly to you.
- Track key performance indicators (availability, outages, cost).
- Lead improvement and efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
- Prioritize resources and initiatives.
To be eligible for the role:
- Several years of experience in a leadership role in production and maintenance within the manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to create structure, clarity, and commitment.
- Clear and inspiring leader with a strong drive to develop both people and processes.

About the process
The assignment, designated 100%, begins immediately and is expected to last approximately 12 months.
We will present the candidates on October 13, and client interviews will take place on October 14–15.
