Interim Head of Engineering & Maintenance
Interim Search has been entrusted with the task of appointing an Interim Head of Technology & Maintenance for a leading company in the food industry in southern Stockholm
Interim Search is seeking a driven Interim Engineering & Maintenance Manager for a leading company in the food industry. You will play a key role in leading, developing, and optimizing the Engineering & Maintenance department during a critical period. Your expertise will be crucial to ensuring high operational reliability and efficiency. You will lead a team and report to the Plant Manager.
Main areas of responsibility and expertise:
- Strategic and Operational Leadership:
- Lead and develop managers and maintenance and automation engineers
- Actively contribute to management team activities
- Coaching and the pedagogical ability to develop employees
- Drive and implement change management
- Develop the work group and establish clear visions and goals for the department
- Budget and Financial Management
- Maintenance Expertise:
- Many years of experience in maintenance within the process or manufacturing industry
- Ability to develop, document, present, and gain support for maintenance strategies
- Experience with methodologies such as TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) or similar
- Documented experience in implementing new methods and strategies
To be considered for this role, we’d like you to have:
- Many years of experience in leadership roles in engineering and maintenance
- Documented experience leading managers
- Strong strategic ability combined with a “hands-on” approach
- Experience working with budgeting and financial monitoring in the maintenance sector
- Ability to drive and gain support for change
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A solid understanding of maintenance processes and methodologies
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last 6 months on a full-time basis, starting immediately after the summer. The work will be performed on-site.
For the right candidate, there is the possibility of future permanent employment with the client company.
