Interim Head of Commercial
On behalf of our client – a leading, fast-growing European provider of cloud communications (UCaaS) – we are seeking a strong Commercial Leader to lead their successful and well-established business brand in Denmark.
In this role, you will become the unifying force for sales, partner support, and daily operations at the local Danish office. Your primary mission will be to ensure continued growth, strengthen partner relationships, and lead a highly motivated team. You will have direct leadership of 15 employees, with overall responsibility for a local site consisting of approximately 40 people.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the commercial strategy and market expansion for the brand in Denmark.
- Develop, nurture, and strengthen relationships with the company’s network of resellers and channel partners.
- Ensure strong commercial performance, high partner/customer satisfaction, and efficient daily operations.
- Direct leadership of the Sales and Support functions (15 employees), with a focus on coaching, motivation, and performance.
- Overall responsibility for the local office in Jutland (approx. 40 people) and fostering a strong local culture.
- Collaborate closely on a daily basis with the international group’s product and development organizations.
Your Profile:
- Proven track record in commercial leadership, channel sales, and indirect partner management (preferably from Telecom, SaaS, Tech, or IT).
- Solid experience in people management, team development, and building a high-performance culture.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and long-term loyalty with channel partners.
- Structured, proactive, and decisive with a high drive for results.
- Fluent in Danish and professionally proficient in English.
The process
The assignment is expected to run for 3-6 months, starting immediately. Candidate presentations to the client will take place on May 27th, with subsequent interviews following shortly after.
