Interim Senior Project Manager

Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Senior Project Manager for an international company in growth.

 

Scope and areas of responsibility:

  • Overseeing the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, defining project scope, objectives and deliverables, creating detailed project plans, ensuring all project activities are completed on time and within budget.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring these are met throughout the project, and maintaining regular communication and reporting on project progress.
  • Generate detailed project plans in cooperation with functional departments present in the project team, communicate project plans and deviations thereto to the project team, and proactively follow up on project tasks and plans on a regular basis.
  • Ensuring the project has necessary resources, including personnel, equipment, and budget, to achieve its objectives.
  • Assisting in project budgeting and price discussions with S&M, Business Control and Accounts Management.
  • Be aware of, and assist in, relevant procedures for GMP compliance at the respective stage of the project.
  • Informing S&M of any identified delays and out of scope work.
  • Conducting after-cost calculation and closure of projects in collaboration with the Finance department.
  • Lead cross-functional local and/or global business excellence initiatives and projects related to Program Management.

Requirements:

  • B.S, MSc or PhD in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • +8 years experience and demonstrated ability and achievements in Project Management and/or Project Portfolio Management to successfully complete projects, preferably within the CMO/pharmaceutical industry.
  • Demonstrated experience from management positions on local or global level.
  • Proactive project management, understand and manage different requirements in customer projects.
  • Excellent business mindset and in-depth commercial understanding.
  • Skills in resource management, cost calculations and financial follow up.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English language, both spoken and written.

Assignment Details:

The assignment is full time, starting immediately and is expected ta last until Dec 31th.
