Interim Sales and Marketing Director

Interim Search has been appointed to recruit an interim Sales and Marketing Director to a global service group in Stockholm. Operations are conducted in local subsidiaries in Northern Europe.

In the role as interim Sales and Marketing Director you are a vital part of the Group Management Team and report to the Chief Executive Officer. You are responsible for the strategical, tactical and operational management of the sales and marketing organisation.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for turnover and results, including meeting the budget targets
  • Drive marketing activities such as lead generation and search engine optimization for new product portfolio
  • Establishment of KPIs and necessary activities to ensure that they are met
  • Ensure that strategies and operational action plans for the business are developed and executed
  • Drive improvements and transform the sales and marketing department in line with the group’s strategy
  • Lead the overall work of marketing planning and continue to develop the group’s market position
  • Actively focus on creating increased value for customers
  • Ensure that the sales representatives are performance oriented and meeting their targets
  • Develop direct-reports with leadership, goal management, coaching and training
  • Daily follow up on sales results and performance management of the sales representatives
  • Take part of a transformation regarding the product portfolio
  • Assist with business development and provide support to the Group CEO

Your qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years within a marketing and sales role in a group, preferably from interim positions
  • Experienced leading more than 150 indirect reports in an international context
  • Solid leadership experience with a background within change management
  • Strong passion for sales and is always striving for customer excellence
  • High understanding of data-driven marketing and sales
  • As a person, highly energetic and flexible with excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English

The recruitment process:
