Interim Research Alliance Manager
South of Sweden | KonfidentielltInterim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Research Alliance Manager to a biopharmaceutical company in the South of Sweden, with the possibility of working remote some of the time. You will be working closely with the Head of Research Alliances.
Principal Responsibilities:
· Manage the process for incoming proposals for preclinical academic collaborations including:
· Manage incoming proposals, internal review process and discussions with the collaborators
· Participate in the scientific review of incoming proposals together with the scientific teams
· Manage the process of developing a research plan including budget with the collaborators and provide scientific input together with the scientific teams
· Secure agreements with support from the legal team
· Follow up on research progress, including coordination of meetings, manage external minutes, follow-up on action items with support from the scientific teams
· Provide scientific input to the projects together with the scientific teams
· Manage agreement aspects with support from the legal teams
· Manage requests for disclosures by collaborator (conferences, publications etc.) with support from the scientific team and the Publications Review Group
Professional Qualifications:
· In order to succeed in this position, you should possess:
· A PhD within natural sciences or similar field, or other similar qualification or equivalent professional experience
· Alliance management experience, preferably from within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry
· Proven project management skills
· A background in medical research, preferably related to immunology
· Experience with partnership agreements
· Ability to communicate in English to a high standard, both written and verbally. This is a mandatory requirement
· IP experience is desirable
· You should have a valid work-permit in Sweden or in the EU.
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last for 12 months, starting immediately. We interview and present candidates on an ongoing basis to the client company.
