Interim Managing Director

You report to the Head of one of the Business Areas.

Main tasks:

• Full P&L and balance sheet responsibility.
• Review and develop the strategy for the future, with clear priorities for the business’s development.
• Continue the change journey with cost down activities to ensure continued leadership in the industry with healthy growth and a strong bottom line performance.
• Constantly drive for further innovation and be able to turn innovation into an attractive solution/product offering.
• Drive continuous improvement activities.
• Drive engagement in the organization to achieve the business goals with; Organizational development- right structures, roles, business processes, governance, skills sets and responsibilities.
• Improve and maintain a brand specific (talent) development plan in coordination and alignment with group HR.
• Development of the people in line with the Group and brand core values.
• Actively collaborate with the other Business Areas and sister companies in the Group for joint success.

To be relevant for the role:

• You have +10 years experience as Managing Director
• You have strong commercial acumen and an ability to translate technological development and market trends to stellar operational performance
• You have excellent written and verbal communications skills
• You have a strong ability to build high-performance teams and setting ambitious goals and over-achieving them
• You have strong skills in change management
• You have an ability to combine strategic planning with hands-on actions.
• You have good financial understanding
• You have high integrity and strong stress resilience
• You are fluent in German and English.
• It’s a merit if you have experience from an innovation and manufacturing environment 
• It’s a merit if you have deep experience of the sales process for technically more complex and sophisticated solutions in a B2B environment
