Interim Chief Product Officer
Malmö | KonfidentiellInterim Search has been appointed to recruit an interim Chief Product Officer to a leading company within consumer electronics.
Responsibilities and main tasks;
- Responsibility for product vision, product strategy, product design, product development, product and marketing intelligence and product marketing
- Oversee every element of the product from its conceptualization to its launch and post-launch performance
- Ensure that the visions and strategy are turned into roadmaps which become products and services which are developed, marketed, produced, sold and made profitable and contributing to the positive and increasing P&L of the company
- Have a good understanding and command of the manufacturing, distribution, procurement, and distribution processes
- Play a supervisory role to key product-, category- and marketing research officers, especially take on the role as mentor/advisor towards the Category Director
Qualifications and whom we are looking for;
- Masters degree, probably within Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Product Management or Engineering
- Vast experience (over 10 years) in a high-ranking Product Management position, preferably as a Head of Product Management in a complex business setting.
- Exceptional leadership skills demonstrating rich blend of analytical, creative and strategic talents in order to win the confidence of direct reports as well as technology, sales and more importantly customers.
- Great ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and inspire cross-functional teams
- Great skills and extensive experience of giving sales and product presentations to C-level and senior management audience
- A supernatural ability to make things happen around you
About the process:
The assignment is expected to start in the beginning of December and will go on for 6 months. We present candidates November 23rd and customer interviews are held November 24 th.
