Interim Search har been commmissioned to appoint an Interim CFO for a international smaller company with a PE company as owner. The turnover is around 300 MSEK with 60 employees. HQ is in Stockholm with business in over 60 countries through a combination of retailers, distributors and direct-to consumer e-commerce platform.
Main responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for finance, including financial accounting, financial reporting, controlling,
corporate financing and ensuring liquidity - Management and further development of the finance team as a business partner to the
organization; anticipate strategic and organizational changes and continuously rebuild the
finance function to be fit for purpose to support a rapidly growing company - Manage cashflows to meet financial obligations and strategy; Improve Cash Reporting &
Forecasting and implement a cash management strategy, including debt collection - Leverage data, budgeting and planning to ensure that resources are allocated towards the
highest-value creation initiatives; Support the company's growth and profitability by making
informed financial decisions - Overall responsibility for building a finance and accounting function for a company operating in
multiple jurisdictions - Responsibility for the company’s risk management and reporting, working with building a
routine for the financial, legal and operational risk work; Identify, assess and
mitigate
Major professional experiences & competencies
- CFO experience and a strong track record in finance. Ideally experience from scaling a business internationally, value creation and experience from a transaction-oriented business.
- Solid finance & controlling toolbox with focus on working capital, liquidity management and forecasting.
- Experience with managing relationships with banks
- Proven ability to build relationships both internally and externally. Ability to influence and impact immediately. Solid leaderships skills and a natural gravitas
- Sophisticated communication & presentation skills, able to understand and appreciate diversity and nuance and adapt style accordingly
- Strong financial literacy, with excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Experience in sustainability is a plus
