Interim Purchasing and Assortment Manager
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of a business-driven and operationally strong Purchasing and Assortment Manager for an interim assignment of approximately 12-14 months. The role is placed in the management team and reports directly to the CEO.
Our client is in an exciting development phase where the wholesale business is in focus. As an interim consultant, you will have overall commercial responsibility for shaping the future range and ensuring an efficient supply of goods. The assignment combines strategic height with close, present leadership of the team in purchasing, analysis and sales.
Main duties:
- Manage and develop the business area based on established strategies and business plans
- Responsible for range development, pricing and sustainability strategies
- Drive performance accountability, establish budget and monitor key performance indicators
- Manage customer and supplier contracts and optimize the flow of goods
- Work closely with other departments to create synergies across the organization
To be eligible for the role:
- Proven experience in similar roles in retail and purchasing
- Relevant academic education, preferably civil engineering or equivalent
- Solid experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management and negotiation
- You are a courageous and present leader who is driven by developing both business and people
- Businesslike, analytical and highly team-oriented
About the assignment:
The assignment is expected to last approximately 12-14 months starting V.27
