Interim Product Manager – Asset Management
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of interim Product Manager at one of the Nordic region’s leading asset managers in Stockholm. The company offers a broad range of investment solutions across multiple asset classes for both institutional and private clients, combining the strength of a leading financial group with deep investment expertise and a long-term business focus. As Product Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the product lifecycle—from strategy and development to quality assurance and business optimization—for a portion of the traditional fund offering. You will work in a dynamic and complex environment in close collaboration with portfolio management, sales organizations, and control functions to drive changes that enhance customer value and profitability.
Main duties:
- Be responsible for product development, management, and business optimization from concept to implementation.
- Lead product initiatives in close collaboration with the investment, distribution, legal, risk, and compliance departments.
- Ensure that products comply with internal and external requirements as well as applicable regulatory frameworks.
- Participate in key forums and translate overarching brand and business strategies into concrete product initiatives.
- Work closely with the business to optimize the product value chain and strengthen the provision of analytical decision-making support.
To be eligible for the role:
- A degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product management or product development, preferably in asset management, mutual funds, savings, or banking.
- A strong interest in financial markets and instruments, as well as a solid understanding of the value chain for fund products. Knowledge of the regulatory framework for the fund market is a plus.
- Analytical, organized, and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Confident in collaborating across functions at various levels of the organization. Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
About the process:
This is a full-time position starting immediately and is expected to last approximately 6 months. Candidate presentations will be held for the client at the end of Week 38, and client interviews will take place in the days following!
