Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim CFO for an international manufacturing company in the Gothenburg area.
Main duties:
- Be a member of the division's management team and serve as a strategic financial partner to relevant stakeholders
- Lead and develop a dedicated finance team of 5 direct reports
- Financial responsibility for a global product development budget, with a focus on active cost control, variance analysis, and efficiency improvements
- Manage the monthly closing and reporting process and be responsible for project controlling and monitoring the project portfolio against the schedule
- Actively participate in meetings regarding strategic business development and follow-up, such as BI and M&A initiatives
- Work on the long-term business plan to support the company's rapid growth and global expansion
- Provide advice and consulting insights regarding measures to improve and streamline operations within the finance department
To be eligible for the role:
- Many years of experience as a CFO with a holistic approach to finance in an international environment
- Background in the manufacturing industry, preferably with experience in a product development-intensive environment (R&D) and project controlling
- Excellent command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- A confident and pragmatic leader with a strong ability to collaborate, find solutions, and reach compromises at a fast pace
- Experience with SAP is a strong plus
About the process
The assignment is for 100% and is expected to run from September 1 through the end of the year. Candidates will be interviewed on an ongoing basis.
