Interim HR Manager, Nordics

Interim Search has been entrusted with filling the position of Interim HR Manager for the Nordics at a global, market-leading entertainment group. We are seeking a senior and highly business-oriented Interim HR Manager. In this role, you will serve as a strategic and advisory business partner to leaders and managers, while also taking personal and full operational ownership of day-to-day HR administration.

Main duties:

  • Provide expert and proactive HR support throughout the entire employee journey, with a particular focus on managers and employees in Sweden and Finland.

  • Be responsible for local policies and the interpretation of labor law and occupational safety and health legislation in Sweden and Finland.

  • Lead and support operations during organizational changes and collaboration processes.

  • Serve as a Workday expert, ensure high data quality, manage personnel files, and coordinate system updates in collaboration with the regional EMEA team.

  • Be responsible for HR-related preparations and processes in the monthly payroll run, and personally manage the entire onboarding and offboarding process from start to finish.

  • Independently manage HR projects in areas such as salary reviews, process improvements, and gender equality and salary surveys.

  • Work closely with the rest of the HR team and establish effective lines of communication with central HR to resolve issues independently and efficiently

To be eligible for the role:

  • Approximately 8+ years of experience in specialized, broad-ranging HR work, during which you have worked closely with senior managers and executives.

  • Substantial and documented practical experience in Swedish labor law. Experience with Finnish labor law is a plus.

  • This role is not supported by an administrator, so you’ll enjoy independently handling day-to-day HR administration, payroll coordination, and personnel files.

  • Proven experience with Workday.

  • Experience working in commercial and matrix-based environments, preferably within U.S. companies and/or in the media and entertainment industry.

  • Strong ability to build trust remotely with colleagues and central specialist teams, using a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach.

  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required.

About the process

The assignment will begin in November and is expected to last at least 6 months. We will present candidates to the client on November 6, followed by interviews at the client’s office.
