Interim Business Area Manager
Interim Search has been entrusted with the task of appointing an interim Business Unit Manager for a company in the biofuel and combined heat and power industry in Jämtland.
Main duties:
- Overall responsibility for the operation of the pellet plant and the combined heat and power plant.
- Lead and develop an organization of approximately 35 employees, with a particular focus on maintenance operations, and ensure stable and efficient operations.
- Work to optimize processes to increase productivity and ensure compliance with quality and environmental requirements.
- Be responsible for the implementation and development of maintenance systems to minimize downtime and optimize the facility's service life.
- Lead budget planning, cost monitoring, and reporting to the CEO.
- Work strategically to translate production results into financial results.
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience managing a 24/7 processing plant and handling complex production systems.
- Experience with biofuels and pellet production, or experience in the process industry, preferably in chemical or technical production.
- Background in maintenance operations and experience implementing effective maintenance systems.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to translate production results into financial results.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent technical education.
