Interim Finance Manager for Public Sector
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an interim Finance Manager for the care administration within municipal operations located in Skåne. In the role of Finance Manager, you are part of the management team and act as an important link to the political governance and the municipal newly formed company.
Main duties:
- Overall responsibility for the financial management of the administration.
- Responsible for and driving the development of the staff, budget and operations of the newly established Finance Unit.
- Responsible for budget, forecasting, monitoring and financial analysis.
- Drive the development of processes, models and working methods and ensure efficient and quality-assured financial management.
- Follow up contracts and act as a client and follow-up function towards
the company.
To be eligible for the role:
- Academic degree in economics.
- Several years of experience in advanced financial work in a managerial role where you previously led and developed teams.
- Proven and good experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial monitoring.
- Good communication skills and the ability to build good relationships with many different collaborators.
- A structured, solution-oriented and analytical approach with a high drive to achieve results.
It is highly advantageous if you have experience from municipal or other public activities, as well as experience in process, quality and change management.
About the process
The assignment starts immediately and covers 100% and extends over about 6 months. The last day to apply is June 3 and interviews with the customer will take place starting no later than June 7.
