Interim Technical Program Director
Interim Search has been entrusted with the recruitment of an Interim Technical Program Director, for an innovative company in the technology sector.
In this role, you and your team will be responsible for and work with customers on a truly global level. You will move between all time zones of the world on a regular basis, and be responsible for the overall customer satisfaction, either in direct dialog as (Tier 1) or through your own designated Customer Programme Owners (Tier 2)
Main duties:
- Lead, coach and if necessary recruit a team of experienced Customer Program Owners, as well as technical developers.
- Responsible for the planning & implementation of current customer projects.
- Ensure efficient use of resources and budget management by anchoring in the management team.
- Continuously strive for Team Best Practice in terms of quality, structure & customer satisfaction.
- You report to the company's CTO and to the VP Automotive.
To be eligible for the role:
- Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent academic background.
- Senior project manager background in software development.
- 5-7 years of proven background leading software teams in the Automotive sector.
- Experience of budgetary responsibility.
- Proven knowledge of, and experience with Applied AI.
- Experience in leading global teams in a cross-functional context.
- Fluent English, both spoken and written.
- Senior background from the automotive subcontracting industry is highly advantageous.
- Background from the customer side and or OEM in Automotive.
