Interim Buyer, Aftermarket
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Buyer Aftermarket to an international industrial company in construction and construction equipment.
Main duties:
- Run an aftermarket purchasing project with a focus on optimizing the supply chain.
- Identify manufacturers and subcontractors behind existing supply chains.
- Evaluate possibilities for more direct sourcing of spare parts and components.
- Conduct analysis of costs, supplier structure and purchasing flows.
- Negotiate commercial terms and establish new international supplier contacts.
- Work closely with internal functions in purchasing, after-sales and logistics.
- Work in ERP systems and ensure proper management of purchasing data.
- Contribute to efficiency gains and cost savings in the after-sales business.
To be eligible for the role:
- You have experience in strategic and operational purchasing in industrial or engineering operations.
- Have proven experience in international supply chains and global sourcing.
- You have experience in identifying and developing new supply chains and driving cost-saving initiatives.
- Have a good understanding of spare parts, component sourcing and the after-sales business.
- You have experience in running projects independently in complex organizations.
- Do you have experience with ERP systems, meritorious with Business Central.
- You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
- Are you a driven, analytical and business-minded profile with the ability to produce results at a fast pace.
About the process
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last six months. We will present candidates during week 21 and interviews with the client company will take place in connection with that.
