Interim Business Controller/Finance Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of Interim Business Controller/Finance Manager at a small company in the transportation and logistics sector, which is part of a larger group.
As an Interim Business Controller/Finance Manager, you will be the company’s sole finance professional and will have independent and overarching responsibility for the company’s financial management, monitoring, and reporting, with support from the Group’s central SSC. You will be a member of the company’s management team and report to the CEO.
Main duties
- Responsibility for the monthly closing and forecasting process.
- Prepare decision-making materials and serve as a business partner to both the CEO and department heads
- Write monthly comments and prepare materials to be presented at Business Reviews
- Quality monitoring and assurance performed by our Group-wide accounting and billing functions
- Maintain and further develop tools for monitoring profitability
- Responsibility for monitoring and developing reports and key performance indicators
- Deliver in line with goals, policies, and performance requirements
- Ad hoc tasks
Who we are looking for:
- You have at least 5 years of experience in finance roles with responsibility for accounting, analysis, and business controlling
- You have very strong skills in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- You have experience leading improvement and development initiatives related to processes and profitability
- You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
- You have experience working with financial and reporting systems as well as BI tools
- You're humble and a strong team player
- You have a relevant academic background in economics
- Knowledge of English is a plus
About the process
The assignment is for 100% of full-time work. It will begin in mid-November and is expected to last 6 months.
