Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Vice President Corporate Control for a public global billion-dollar company in Skåne.

You will be the CFO's right hand in a broad and complex role with responsibility for leading the company's global accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, business controlling and ensuring compliance with regulations as well as being involved in the company's initiatives / projects and analyzing them from a financial perspective.

Main duties:

Ensure that the accounting/group accounts are properly conducted and reported according to IFRS and GAAP
Coach and manage 5 direct reports with subordinate functions in Accounting, Internal Control, Business Controlling, Sustainability
Monitor monthly, quarterly and annual processes and manage and coordinate external audits.
Ensure manuals and instructions for accounting and reporting as well as instructions for forecasting (YP and LRP).
Provide financial guidance on complex transactions and business ventures.
Monitor and support the internal control function in maintaining a robust internal control environment.
Collaborate with the CFO and other senior managers to support strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions and financial planning.

To be eligible for the role:

Many years of experience in accounting and group accounting, reporting and business controlling at group level.
Proven strong leadership skills in coaching individuals but also in managing functions.
Independent analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make decisions.
Ability to influence senior decision-makers in achieving common financial objectives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with innovative solutions.
Swedish and English, fluent in speech and writing.

About the process:
