Interim HR Director

Karin has primarily worked in the healthcare sector and has long known that human resources is her calling. She learned personnel administration from the ground up and was then offered the job as HR manager for a publicly traded biotech company headquartered in Uppsala. Over the next ten years, she successfully built up the European HR function, including the design of HR processes and guidelines for recruitment, termination, management and employee training, salary reviews, health and safety issues, and the implementation of rules, policies, and processes. A year after the company was acquired by an American company, she took on the challenge of becoming HR manager for a Swedish pharmaceutical company and later an international pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland. Her most recent position was as HR director for an international publicly traded software company, where she had overall responsibility for the group's HR function.

Often, people who have come a long way in their careers have a tough demeanor. That is not the case with Karin. She has come a long way thanks to her calm and flexible personality, without compromising her authority. Karin has the capacity to initiate and implement both complex and unpopular changes, preferably in an international pharmaceutical company. She is, of course, also open to assignments in other businesses. She is currently working part-time for our client in the retail sector and is open to further assignments.
