Interim Operations Manager

This is a hands-on change leadership role, working closely with the CEO and the management team. You will act as the CEO’s right hand, supporting and coaching key managers within sales, supply chain, and operations to increase accountability, leadership capability, and drive sustainable business improvements. There is a strong need for direct coaching, ownership of key processes, and cultural transformation. The team requires support to become self-driven and proactive. You will have the mandate to initiate actions and execute on decisions together with the CEO.

Main Responsibilities:

• Act as the CEO’s right hand and support the executive team in operational and cultural transformation.
• Lead hands-on change initiatives across sales, supply chain, and operations.
• Coach and develop members of the management team to take ownership and drive results.
• Establish and clarify responsibilities, processes, and workflows across functions.
• Take operational responsibility for specific improvement areas.
• Act as a cultural integrator between the local team and group-level initiatives.
• Represent the CEO internally when needed.

To be considered for this role:

• Experience in operational leadership roles such as Operations Manager, Change Manager, or similar.
• Experience working in product-based businesses, preferably within FMCG, wholesale, retail or food sectors.
• Proven ability to lead change initiatives, transformation and leadership development in complex or underperforming environments.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to engage stakeholders across functions.
• Previous interim or consultancy experience is strongly preferred.
• Fluent in German, professional proficiency in English is required.

About the recruitment process:
