Interim Chief Financial Officer

As Interim CFO, you will report directly to the CEO. Accounting is outsourced.

Main tasks:

• Member of the management team
• Oversee one in-house controller and coordinate with the Finance Director, who is on paternity leave until August 2024. 
• Lead and execute successful capital raising initiatives, employing expertise in various methods such as equity financing, debt financing, and venture capital. 
• Oversee financial operations and ensure compliance with NASDAQ regulations for small cap companies. 
• Direct responsibilities include financial reporting, budget management, compliance, risk management, and strategic financial planning. 
• Work closely with outsourcing partners for all accounting and payroll services. 
• Maintain a hands-on, proactive approach in a small, dynamic corporate setting. 

To be relevant for the role:

• Proven track record as a CFO within NASDAQ-listed small cap companies. 
• Great experience from leading role in capital raising
• Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint 
• Strong analytical, strategic, and problem-solving skills.
• Good presentation skills
• Hands-on and proactive attitude
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Experience in innovative, smaller research companies, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector or process industry, is an advantage.

About the process:

The assignment starts as soon as possible and the estimated length of the assignment is 12 months. We present candidates for the client company at the end of week 04 and interviews will take place beginning of week 05.
