Interim Vehicle Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Vehicle Manager for a company with technically advanced operations and large investment projects.
Main duties:
- Have overall responsibility for the vehicles, including fleet management, safety, availability and life cycle.
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, monitoring and financial analysis related to vehicles and vehicle-related investments.
- Lead and interact with internal functions as well as external suppliers and partners in the automotive and rail sector.
- Ensure compliance with regulations, safety requirements and regulatory requirements in the rail sector.
- Act as the client personified for the organization's largest investment project to date.
- Be a strategic and operational partner to management and key stakeholders and contribute to the long-term development of the automotive strategy.
To be eligible for the role:
- Proven experience with rail vehicles (mandatory).
- Experience in the rail sector, preferably in a managerial or responsible role.
- Strong financial understanding with experience in budgeting, purchasing, monitoring and analysis.
- Very good ability to work in a structured, analytical and data-driven way (good Excel skills).
- Confident leader with good collaboration skills and focus on both people and results.
- Good communication skills in Swedish and English.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time starting 1/3-1/4 2026 and is expected to last 1-1.5 years. Interviews are ongoing and candidates will be presented on 22/1 2026.
