Interim Sustainability Lead
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an interim Sustainability Lead for a business area within a Swedish group (partly remote)
Main duties
- Coordinate and drive the green transition within the business area.
- Follow up on initiatives from the respective companies/functions and coordinate information and communication in common forums.
- Initiatives and activities are monitored against the plan and against finances.
- Develop key performance indicators for the pace of transition.
- Communicate internally and externally on the company's green transition and goals.
- Take initiatives regarding questions and ideas that come from within or outside the organization and anchor in the Sustainability Council in the area.
- Report and compile status and updated plans to the Strategic LG within the business area.
- Drive the work forward with any partners or external organizations.
- Follow up and refine the carbon footprint calculation within the business area.
- Cooperate with the Sustainability Group within the Group.
- Reports to the Head of Purchasing.
To be eligible for the role
- Experienced project manager and handled many interfaces and functions.
- Experienced sustainability consultant with several years in sustainable development.
- Implemented and managed various sustainability projects.
- University degree in a field relevant to the post or equivalent training.
- Experience working in the process industry or logistics is desirable.
- Experience in writing reports to follow up on milestones and activities.
- Good sense of numbers and their importance for the business.
- Swedish in speech and writing and the ability to communicate in Norwegian and Danish is an advantage.
About the process
The assignment is expected to last about 6 months with a scope of 50 % and immediately. We present candidates on an ongoing basis and interviews with the customer take place in connection with it.
