Interim Search has been asked to appoint an Interim Senior Strategic Buyer to a company that works with medical equipment in Västra Götaland.
The role is strategically oriented but there is also operational purchasing work
Main duties:
- Business negotiations in selected areas, individually and together with other senior staff/managers.
- Systematic supplier evaluations.
- Monitoring of key performance indicators, identification of root causes and implementation of measures.
- Project procurement - synergies and cost rationalization in the supplier base.
- Project purchasing and purchasing work related to new products.
- Quality development in the supplier base with the support of the quality department.
- Calculate and update parameters if necessary
To be eligible for the role:
- At least 10 years of experience as a strategic buyer
- Experience from companies with demanding regulations (e.g. ISO 9001)
- A couple of years of experience as an interim consultant
- Used to working in Microsoft Dynamics and BC
- Knowledge of standards in the medical and product technology field.
About the process:
The mission is at 100% in 6-9 months starting in April.
