Interim Senior Reliability Engineer - Electrical & Instrument
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of a Senior Specialist in Electrical & Instrument to an established international group in the process industry. The company operates a technically advanced production facility and is at a stage where the focus is on strengthening operational reliability, improving technical availability and further developing preventive maintenance. The role is a key position in the organization's work to ensure stable operation and long-term technical development of the plant and reports directly to the maintenance manager of the company.
Main duties:
- Responsible for the development of reliability strategies and preventive maintenance in the electrical and instrumentation area.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) in case of recurrent failures and identify improvement actions.
- Participate in and manage projects related to the modernization and upgrade of control systems and instrumentation.
- Act as technical expert support to production and maintenance in more complex troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with relevant electrical safety requirements, ATEX and industry standards.
- Contribute to the technical development of process-related support systems such as compressed air, cooling systems and power supply.
To be eligible for the role:
- University degree or equivalent in Electrical, Automation or Instrumentation Engineering.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in industrial activities, preferably in the process industry.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment, control systems and process instrumentation.
- Good knowledge of electrical power systems, motor control and frequency converters.
- Experience with PLC or DCS systems.
- Ability to work in a structured way with technical analysis and improvement work.

About the process and the mission:
