Interim Sales Manager
Interim Search has been tasked with filling an interim Sales Manager position at a technology company that provides specialized technical information services to industrial companies. The group is a medium-sized company with its headquarters in southern Sweden and seven regional offices. The position is based at the local office in Northern Stockholm.
Your assignment is to be responsible for building up sales within one of the company’s divisions, which covers a new region stretching from Stockholm to Östergötland. Your role will be to contact existing customers and develop new ones using the portfolio of services within the communications business. The business focuses on technical communication, and the company’s services are aimed at customers in the engineering and defense industries, as well as manufacturers of construction components. You will be part of the Group Management Team and report directly to the CEO.
To be considered for this position, you must have recent experience working as a Sales Manager in concept/service sales targeting industrial customers, as well as experience managing long sales cycles. Experience in software sales is a plus. In addition, you have experience negotiating with senior middle managers and a proven track record of strong sales results.
You are a self-motivated and dedicated individual who enjoys working in the field. You are curious and inspire trust, and you’re skilled at building and fostering relationships. This is a full-time position starting in mid-August 2016. The role will last for at least 6 months until a permanent hire is in place.
