Interim Sales Manager Aftermarket

Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint a business driven and operational Interim Sales Manager to a service unit. In this role you will be responsible for running the sales operations for aftermarket products in a high-flow international environment. You will step into a key role to support the unit, strengthen the team culture, clarify responsibilities and optimize the unit's joint delivery capacity, with a focus on business and customer value. This role is part of the management team and reports to the Business and Operations Manager.

Main duties

  • Run and develop the sales activities of a service unit with a focus on after-sales.

  • Lead, motivate and engage a team of 15 people with a focus on creating clear objectives, structure and commitment in the daily work.

  • Responsible for reporting to an international hub and working agile based on forecasts and projections.

  • Manage and develop relationships with both international and Swedish clients, including major players in the energy sector.

To be eligible for the assignment

  • You have a solid background as a Sales Manager in aftermarket, service or technical trade and are a self-driven leader who can deliver results from day one.

  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams through motivating, clear and present leadership.

  • Experience in the service industry.

  • Ability to navigate in an international group structure with good understanding of both export and internal customer relations.

  • Good experience of working in CRM and ERP systems. Experience of Salesforce and SAP is an advantage but not a requirement.

  • A very good knowledge of English is required.

About the process

The assignment is full-time and is expected to last 6 months. Possibility of some leave during the vacation months is available by agreement. The position is located in the Mälardal region with a hybrid working model.
