Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of Interim Program Manager for SAP SuccessFactors at a major company in the construction industry.

We are looking for an experienced program manager who will be responsible for taking over and continuing to lead the implementation of a group-wide HR system based on SAP SuccessFactors.

The program is ongoing and is in a well-established implementation phase. The assignment involves ensuring continuity in program management, maintaining the momentum that has been built up, and driving the program forward toward its established goals and planned deliverables.

The program encompasses both system implementation and business transformation, with the goal of establishing common, efficient, and sustainable HR processes and work methods throughout the Group.

Main duties

  • Program Management and Oversight: Be responsible for the program’s overall management, organization, planning, and monitoring, and ensure clear mandates, responsibilities, and decision-making processes.
  • Takeover and Continuity: Ensure a structured transition from the current program management, quickly establish a comprehensive overview of the program’s status and priorities, and maintain continuity, decision-making capacity, and momentum in the program’s continued implementation.
  • Planning and Delivery: Be responsible for the program plan, schedule, budget, and resource planning, and ensure progress and delivery in accordance with agreed-upon goals and parameters.
  • Coordination and Collaboration: Lead and coordinate the program's workflows and ensure effective collaboration between HR, operations, IT, and external vendors, including the management of interfaces and dependencies.
  • Risk and Deviation Management: Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks, dependencies, and deviations, and ensure that critical issues and decisions are addressed in the appropriate forum and in a timely manner.
  • Supplier Management: Ensure clear expectations, responsibilities, and deliverables from implementation partners and other external vendors, and monitor quality, progress, and commitments.
  • Change Management and Buy-In: Lead and coordinate the program’s change initiatives in close collaboration with the relevant units to ensure organizational buy-in, strong readiness for change, and user acceptance.
  • Decision-making documentation and reporting: Ensure transparent and relevant reporting to the steering committee and management, and prepare clear decision-making documents, impact analyses, and recommendations.
  • Quality and Business Value: Ensure that the program’s deliverables meet the agreed-upon quality standards, satisfy the business’s requirements, and contribute to the program’s overall objectives and expected business value.
  • Handover and Setup: Ensure the conditions for a structured transition from the program to operations and the continued development of the system and related work processes.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have documented experience leading large and complex programs or business transformations, with responsibility for overall management and delivery.
  • You have experience leading programs in Nordic and international organizations that span multiple countries, companies, and business units, and involve many stakeholders.
  • You have several years of experience leading HRIS/HCM implementations, with an understanding of both system implementation and business transformation.
  • You have documented experience with SAP SuccessFactors implementations, preferably from multiple projects and with responsibility for the entire implementation or significant portions of it.
  • You have a solid understanding of key HR processes and how they are affected by digitization and standardization, such as organizational and master data, onboarding, performance management, compensation, and succession planning.
  • You have experience with steering committee work, management reporting, supplier management, and change management.
  • You have a good understanding of the interaction between business operations, HR, IT, and system vendors during major system implementations.
  • You have experience managing complex dependencies, changing conditions, and competing priorities in large-scale programs.
  • You have a very good command of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
