Interim Production Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Production Manager for a market-leading manufacturing company in Gävleborg County. The company has about 150 employees and a turnover of just over SEK 300 million.
As Interim Production Manager, you will be part of the management team and report to the CEO. You have full responsibility for on-site production - including manufacturing, deliveries, plant engineering and process development.
Main duties:
- Responsibility to maintain the set quality and environmental objectives of the production
- Responsibility to continuously develop production methods
- Responsibility to develop strategies and ways of working in line with modern production and management philosophies
- Overall responsibility for each department in production and to optimize staffing, utilization and forecasting
- Ensure staff development, correct working methods are used and rules and processes are followed
- Responsibility for achieving plans, strategies and objectives in each department
- Ensure that operations are conducted in line with a work environment that promotes employee health and engagement
- Review and update working methods and procedures to maximize the impact of investments in production flows
- Reorienting production towards new market segments
Who we are looking for:
- You have experience in management positions in large production, preferably in a consulting role
- You have experience in leading major transformation projects and designing strategic investments
- You have very good knowledge of LEAN or similar improvement tools
- You are a valued leader and can act as a good coach and create engagement with employees
- You have the courage to change and are prepared to lead all the way into the business
