Interim Process Technician
Interim Search has been tasked with recruiting an Interim Food Waste Process Technician for a leading international food company. You will play a key role in the facility’s sustainability and efficiency efforts. The role combines technical analysis and process visualization, and you will be expected to challenge existing work methods and drive continuous improvement.
Main duties:
- Map and visualize manufacturing flows to identify where and why production waste occurs.
- Analyze theoretical and practical flows in the process industry to identify the causes of waste and line stoppages.
- Collect, process, and analyze production data to make informed decisions and track key performance indicators.
- Challenge current procedures and culture in a constructive way to establish more waste-efficient and effective work methods.
- Work closely with operators, maintenance staff, and production technicians to integrate new solutions into everyday production operations.
To be eligible for the role:
- Background in the process, food, or manufacturing industries.
- Experience with process mapping, flow analysis, and eliminating bottlenecks (e.g., Lean, TPM, Six Sigma, or VSM).
- Experience working with systems and analytical tools (e.g., Excel/BI tools) to transform production data into visual insights.
- A solid technical foundation for understanding how machines, control systems, and process flows interact.
- Fluency in spoken and written Swedish, as well as a good command of English.
About the process
The assignment is expected to last 12 months on a full-time basis, with a start date to be agreed upon.
