Interim Occupational Health and Safety Specialist
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an Interim Occupational Safety Specialist for a well-established industrial company. The role involves overall responsibility for managing day-to-day occupational safety efforts and spending a significant amount of time on the factory floor conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, and similar tasks. This is a managerial role, so you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the work. You are expected to be on-site and will be provided with housing large enough for an entire family; you will report to the Plant Manager.
Main duties:
- Be responsible for day-to-day workplace safety efforts.
- Be very hands-on out on the factory floor.
- Risk Assessment and Safety Inspections.
- Lead and coordinate the work.
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience with occupational safety and health issues is required.
- Experience working with risks such as working at heights, heavy vehicles, and confined spaces is required.
- Fluent in Swedish and English.
- Experience working in the industrial sector is a plus.
