Interim Materials Developer, PCD
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit a Materials Developer specializing in PCD for a global company with revenue in the billions.
Main duties:
- Contribute to the next generation of PCD technology through the development and optimization of materials and processes.
- Streamline and improve manufacturing processes and methods.
- Further develop existing products with a focus on performance, quality, and service life.
- Work closely with production, the product team, and purchasing to optimize manufacturing and the supply of materials.
- Contribute new knowledge and challenge existing work practices to strengthen the organization's technical expertise.
To be eligible for the role:
- Education or equivalent work experience in materials development or materials engineering.
- Knowledge of materials characterization, such as X-ray analysis and Raman spectroscopy, relevant to PCD development.
- Strong teamwork skills and enjoys working across functions in a team.
- Ability and willingness to work on-site 4–5 days a week.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
About the process
The assignment is 100% and is expected to last approximately 6 months, starting immediately as per the announcement. Candidates will be presented on August 27, and interviews with our client will take place at that time.

Requirements for the Position:

A relevant degree or equivalent hands-on experience in materials development or materials engineering.

Expertise in material characterization (e.g., X-ray analysis and Raman spectroscopy) relevant to PCD development.

Strong collaborative skills and a proven track record of excelling in cross-functional teams.

Willingness and ability to work on-site 4–5 days a week.

Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
