Interim Materials Developer PCD

Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit a Materials Developer specializing in PCD for a global company with revenue in the billions.

 

Main duties:

  • Bidra till nästa generations PCD-teknologi genom utveckling och optimering av material och processer.
  • Effektivisera och förbättra tillverkningsprocesser och metoder.
  • Vidareutveckla befintliga produkter med fokus på prestanda, kvalitet och livslängd.
  • Samarbeta nära med produktion, produktteam och inköp för att optimera tillverkning och materialförsörjning.
  • Bidra med ny kunskap och utmana befintliga arbetssätt för att stärka organisationens tekniska kompetens.

 

To be eligible for the role:

  • Utbildning eller motsvarande arbetslivserfarenhet inom materialutveckling eller materialteknik.
  • Kunskap inom materialkaraktärisering, exempelvis röntgenanalys och Raman-spektroskopi, med relevans för PCD-utveckling.
  • God samarbetsförmåga och trivs med att arbeta tvärfunktionellt i team.
  • Möjlighet och vilja att arbeta på plats 4–5 dagar i veckan.
  • Engelska flytande i tal och skrift.

 

About the process

Uppdraget är på 100% och förväntas pågå i ca 6 månader med start omgående enligt ök. Presentation av kandidater sker den 27:e augusti, och intervjuer med vår uppdragsgivare sker i samband med det.

Interim Materials Developer – PCD

Interim Search has been engaged to appoint an Interim Materials Developer specializing in PCD for a global billion-SEK company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the next generation of PCD technology through the development and optimization of materials and processes.

  • Streamline and enhance manufacturing processes and methodology.

  • Further develop existing products, with a focus on performance, quality, and product lifespan.

  • Collaborate closely with Production, Product Teams, and Procurement to optimize manufacturing and material supply.

  • Bring new insights and challenge existing ways of working to elevate the organization’s technical expertise.

Requirements for the Role:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent hands-on experience in materials development or materials engineering.

  • Expertise in material characterization (e.g., X-ray analysis and Raman spectroscopy) relevant to PCD development.

  • Strong collaborative skills and a track record of thriving in cross-functional teams.

  • Willingness and ability to work on-site 4–5 days per week.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

About the process

This assignment is full-time (100%) and expected to run for approximately 6 months, starting immediately by agreement. Candidate presentations will take place on August 27th, with client interviews conducted around the same time.
