Interim Head of Operations
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Operations Manager for a niche logistics company.
As Interim Operations Manager, you will manage a business with 150 employees and have five direct reports.
Main duties
- Overall responsibility for ensuring uninterrupted operations and reliability of the logistics chain.
- Lead the execution of strategic initiatives and the development agenda.
- Management team work with regular meetings
- Ensure operational alignment based on conclusions from organizational review.
- Strengthen cross-functional efficiency internally and develop cooperation with customers
Who we are looking for:
- Senior operational manager: Significant experience (10+ years) in managing large-scale operational activities, including full profit and budget responsibility.
- Industry knowledge: Proven ability to streamline complex flows of goods or supply chains.
- Change management: Strong experience in leading large-scale change efforts, including organizational alignment and human resources issues.
- Interim experience: Experience of quickly getting to grips with and delivering on time-critical, senior consultancy assignments.
- Leadership qualities: Analytical, structured and coaching leadership style with high integrity and strong drive.
- System: You are a very experienced user of the Office package
- Education: Relevant academic degree, preferably in logistics or engineering and formal management training.
About the process
The assignment is 100% of full time. Start in early June and the assignment lasts until 2026-12-31.
