Interim Plant Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Factory Manager on the West Coast. The assignment is initially for 6 months. As a manager, you need to be present and spend 4 days a week on site and 1 day remotely.
You will lead and distribute work within the production department and develop operations within your area of responsibility.
Main duties:
- Overall responsibility for work within a given production department.
- Based on given budget constraints and resources, ensure that the department's products are delivered with the right quality and as cost-effectively as possible.
- Ensure that the department has the right skills, where employees develop and receive continuous feedback on their performance.
- Responsible for a safe, secure, and healthy work environment.
- Communicate the company's goals and vision, as well as seek and share knowledge and information with colleagues.
- Plan and lead department meetings.
- Employee interviews with subordinate staff.
- Salary discussions with subordinate staff.
- Personnel planning – recruitment and skills planning.
- Certification of hours and expenses for subordinate staff.
