Interim Electrical Construction Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of Interim Electrical Contracting Manager for a company based in Skåne.
Main duties:
In this role, you will have clear operational and change-management responsibilities for leading the organization from its current state to a more clearly managed, business-oriented, and results-driven operation. As a confident, senior, and decisive leader, you will quickly establish structure, set the direction, and build a more business-oriented, accountable, and modern work culture with a focus on self-leadership among the team.
- Lead and develop the contracting organization, including electricians, in day-to-day operations, planning, and follow-up
- Implement the necessary changes in work practices, accountability, governance, and culture
- Clarify requirements, expectations, and follow-up procedures related to working hours, productivity, quality, and delivery
- Create a more business-oriented culture focused on customer value, efficiency, and professional execution
- Further develop the organization's ability to work independently using digital tools, system support, and structured documentation
- Further develop individuals' capacity for self-leadership and personal growth
- Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health requirements, electrical safety standards, procedures, and relevant regulations
- Build trusting and professional relationships with labor unions and manage collaboration in a clear and constructive manner
To be eligible for the role, you should have:
- Documented experience leading operational organizations with employees covered by collective bargaining agreements, preferably in the contracting, energy, power grid, industrial, technical service, or installation sectors.
- Experience with personnel management, occupational safety and health responsibilities, and day-to-day operational management in a safety-critical environment.
- Proven ability to plan and implement changes that affect culture, behaviors, work practices, and management structure.
- A good understanding of labor-management relations, labor law procedures, and collaboration with union representatives.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety issues and safety culture in the fields of electrical engineering, electrical power, construction, or related technical areas.
About the process:
The assignment is expected to begin immediately and last approximately 6–9 months. Scope: 100%.
