Interim Commercial Purchasing & Assortment Director

Create processes and flows regarding everything from vision, goals, strategy and business development to requirements and subsequent implementation and evaluation of the purchasing process that actively contribute to developing the company's business. The role of Purchasing and Assortment Manager is characterized by quality thinking combined with strong leadership and business acumen.

Main duties:

• Create processes and flows from vision, goals, strategy and business development to requirements and subsequent implementation and evaluation of the purchasing process that actively contributes to the development of the company's business.
• Overall strategic and operational responsibility for business development within the purchasing department, including ensuring that the customer offering is developed and executed in line with the company's customer-focused business plan.
• Prioritize the company's assortment and ensure the implementation of the assortment strategy.
• Ongoing development and segmentation of the supplier base and development of strategies per segment and a framework for supplier cooperation.
• Staff responsibility, leading and managing the team in purchasing, assortment and sustainability through a daily engagement and operational role in the team.
• Contribute a strategic perspective to the work of the management team to ensure, among other things, the company's goal of revenue growth with profitability. .

We are looking for you who have/are:

• You have a relevant college or university degree and several years of proven experience in strategic sourcing, assortment building with broad experience in supplier processing and negotiation.
• Experience in digital commerce and external international brands.
• Strategic with the ability to switch between detail and helicopter view and great business understanding and very result-driven with extensive experience in assortment and sales.
• Highly skilled in analysis, monitoring and reporting.
• You are a knowledgeable and business-oriented leader and negotiator who enjoys developing your organization and your people.
• Communicative, positive, clear and unpretentious with good interpersonal skills.
• Curious and open-minded with an ethical approach and a keen interest and sense of current events, the world around us, trends and sustainability in the field.
• Experience in retail and in a competitive company undergoing change and/or growth.

About the process:

The assignment will start tentatively on April 4, is full-time and is expected to last for about 12 months.
