Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an Interim Finance Manager to a stable and well-established company operating in an international and project-intensive group environment. The role offers overall responsibility for the company's finance function with a strong focus on business-related project finance, high quality in group reporting and proactive leadership.
This is an assignment for you who thrive in a broad, operational and business-related key role. As CFO, you have overall responsibility for ensuring that the company's accounting and reporting is of the highest quality, both in terms of Swedish regulations and in reporting to the parent company in Norway.
Main duties:
- Overall responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts, annual reports, income tax returns, forecasting and budgeting processes.
- Ensure a fair financial picture in all projects, with a particular focus on progressive profit accounting. Support and quality assure the monthly and quarterly reports of the project managers and act actively in case of deviations.
- Responsible for treasury management, compliance with the authorization scheme, management of bank guarantees, leasing agreements and coordination of management and financial statement audits.
- Work closely with central functions of the parent company in Norway and support the organization from an accounting perspective in case of structural changes (mergers, purchase/sale of shares).
- Lead, drive and develop the work and well-being of the finance function by implementing and streamlining procedures and working methods.
To be eligible for the role:
- At least a Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent, combined with qualified experience as a Finance Manager, Controller Manager or Senior Business Controller.
- Solid and documented experience in project accounting and deep understanding of percentage of completion accounting.
- Experience working with engineering-heavy project organizations (experience in construction-related activities is a strong merit).
- Strong integrity, proactivity and communicative leadership with proven ability to build relationships and trust in business matters from a financial perspective.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time and based in Västra Götaland, starting immediately and expected to last for 6 months.
Presentation of candidates to clients will take place during Week 23.
For the right candidate, a transition to permanent employment may be offered after the end of the interim period.
