Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim CFO for a medium-sized company in Stockholm.
Main duties:
- Take strategic responsibility for the finance function
- Lead the day-to-day work in the legal and financial areas
- Provide the organization with financial information and assist management in decision-making
- Define and plan for competency and resource needs
- Have overall responsibility for accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Analyze and forecast financial results
- Be responsible for pension plans, legal matters, insurance, and real estate
- Conduct an annual audit together with the auditor
- Investigate and initiate activities to improve the company's profits
- Assist in setting goals and implementing strategies to achieve growth
- Identify and implement changes to financial processes
- Have overall responsibility for effective liquidity management
- Ensure adequate information and analysis prior to investments and acquisitions
- Revise existing agreements with customers and subcontractors
- Be responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, in part in collaboration with the accounting manager
- Coordinate and prepare tax returns, insurance, and employer contributions
- Analyze financial IT systems from a business perspective
- Member of the management team with personnel responsibilities within the finance and legal function
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- An academic degree in business administration
- Solid experience in the above tasks
- Documented leadership experience
- Experience in preparing and compiling income statements and balance sheets
- Strong knowledge of cash flow management and forecasting
- Very good knowledge of Excel
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last approximately 8 months, starting in January. We will present candidates on an ongoing basis, and interviews will be conducted as candidates are presented.
