Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim CFO for Gudrun Sjödén Design AB. The company has a turnover of SEK 800 million and operates in 13 markets. 70% of the turnover is via e-commerce, the rest in physical stores.
The position is a key position and the CFO is expected to act as the right hand to the CEO and Deputy CEO both operationally and strategically. Important interfaces are the management team, board and owners, bank, auditors and suppliers. There are also interfaces with other operations such as logistics, purchasing, sales, market establishment, e-commerce and stores.
The main responsibilities are:
- Financial statements, annual accounts and monthly accounts
- Contacts with and reporting to authorities
- Audit, banking and tax issues.
- Budget and forecasting process, financial reporting and monitoring and analysis process.
- Financial security
- Preparation of investment documentation on establishment issues
- Supplier negotiations
- Supporting the CEO in financial matters.
To be considered for the role, you are a person with good documented experience, both in terms of results and personal experience, from a transaction-intensive, international environment - preferably retail. A background in business administration or equivalent academic degree is required.
As a person, you are business-oriented, customer-oriented, driven, structured and thorough. You are analytical and motivated by developing the company and your own department. You are also communicative, have good teamwork skills and thrive in the role of leader. Experience of managing other staff functions such as HR and IT is an advantage. The position reports to the CEO and Deputy CEO and the department consists of seven employees including the CFO.
The assignment is 6 months long and the expectation is that it then turns into permanent employment.
