Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Accounting Manager to a global company in the media industry. The Swedish operation has 50 employees and an annual turnover of SEK 120 million. The head office is located in central Stockholm and you will report to the company's CFO.
Your responsibilities will mainly include the following tasks:
- Daily leadership of the Accounting Group (which handles the general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable, and ad control), consisting of 17 people, five of whom report directly to this role. The group has two team leaders.
- Application responsibility for the Group's Finance and Media System (Marathon)
- Responsibility for the Accounting Group's part in the processes surrounding the monthly financial statements
- Responsibility for compliance with laws, regulations, and internal controls; ongoing primary responsibility for our compliance with the Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX)
- Annual reports for all group companies
To be eligible for the position, you should have solid experience from a similar role in the recent past. Fluency in spoken and written Swedish and English is a requirement. The position is full-time and starts on August 1 and is expected to last until September 30, 2016.
