Interim Accounting Manager

Interim Search is looking for an interim accounting manager on behalf of a client pending permanent recruitment. The client is a Swedish retail company. The company has a turnover of SEK 2 billion and is growing steadily. You will be located at the head office in southern Stockholm.

As an accounting manager, you will be a key person and have overall responsibility for the accounting for all the client's companies. You will provide the organization with financial statements and reports that form the basis for analysis and follow-up of the business. Furthermore, you have overall responsibility for annual reports, annual accounts, monthly accounts and contact with auditors. As an Accounting Officer, you are expected to be knowledgeable and take responsibility in accounting and tax matters. Other usual tasks include day-to-day accounting, monthly accounts, provisions, VAT reporting and payments. You will also be involved in budget and forecast work. The role includes supervising three people and you will report to the company's CFO.

As a person, you are business-minded, positive and enjoy working with others and care about a good working climate where you and your colleagues thrive and have fun together. To be relevant for the role, you must have worked as an accounting manager in the near future, have the ability and interest in leading staff, be knowledgeable in Excel and other systems. We present candidates to customers now on Monday 21/9 and customer interviews take place in the following days. The assignment starts immediately and lasts about 3-5 months. Candidates should be open to permanent employment after the interim period.
