Interim Accounting Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim Accounting Manager for the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's head office in Stockholm. The accounting unit belongs to the Finance Department and works to provide transparent, accurate and appropriate accounting.
You will be responsible for a team of 10 staff and will be part of the department's management team of 3 people. You will drive and develop the unit's area of activity and working methods. The unit is in a period of change where it is upgrading to new systems in finance and payroll management and outsourcing transaction processing to SSC. You are responsible for the staff and work environment of the unit's employees. You will help to ensure that employees feel committed, involved and have the right conditions for their work, and you will follow up the unit's results. The assignment also includes creating the conditions for the development of effective forms of cooperation, both internally and externally. You will also contribute to the management of the Finance Department through active participation in the department's management team.
To be eligible for the assignment, you must:
- Business degree from a university or college
- At least three years of managerial or other qualified leadership experience
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting processes
- Experience in implementing changes in procedures and processes
