Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Accounting Manager to an environmental organization with approximately 350 employees.
As Interim Accounting Manager, you will have staff responsibility for three Finance Assistants and one Finance Administrator and work closely with a Senior Business Controller. You will report to the Head of Department.
Main duties
- Responsible for day-to-day accounting, annual accounts, annual reports, etc.
- Responsibility and quality assurance of day-to-day invoice processing carried out by financial assistants
- Quarterly follow-ups, work on budget framework, etc.
- Reporting to the board, industry association, international parent organization, etc.
Who we are looking for:
- You have +5 years of experience working independently with qualified accounting
- You have previous experience in managing and developing staff
- You like to have overall responsibility and at the same time be hands-on and operational in the daily work
- You have a pedagogical streak and enjoy teaching your skills
- It is an advantage if you have worked in a complex international company
- It is an advantage if you have worked in project-driven organizations with external funders
About the process
The assignment is 100% of full time. Start date is October 16 or November 1 at the latest and the assignment is expected to last 9 months.
