Interim Accounting Manager
On behalf of our client, we are currently seeking an Interim Accounting Specialist. As an Accounting Specialist, you will have operational responsibility for the company’s accounts receivable, invoicing, and ongoing cash flow monitoring for a limited period. You’ll step right into the day-to-day operations to cover for an employee on sick leave and are expected to have the experience necessary to work independently from day one.
Main duties:
- Be responsible for invoicing (primarily domestic) and managing accounts receivable.
- Manage accounts payable, journal entries, and electronic invoice workflows.
- Conduct ongoing liquidity monitoring and account reconciliations.
- Maintain close communication with the business units regarding operational financial matters.
- Payroll administration is not part of this role, as it is handled separately.
To be eligible for the role:
- Experience as a senior accounting manager or finance manager, preferably from the manufacturing industry or an engineering company.
- A solid understanding of operational financial processes and experience working independently with accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Practical experience working with modern business and financial systems (experience with Fortnox and/or MediusGo is a plus).
- Ability to work independently with minimal training and without the need for extensive on-the-job training.
About the process
The assignment will last a total of 8 weeks, beginning on October 7. The workload is 100% during the first 4 weeks (with on-site presence during the start-up phase) and then transitions to 50% during the final 4 weeks (with the option for flexibility/hybrid work).
