Director Business Control

As Director Business Control, you are the financial partner of the division's business managers at global level, supporting and challenging them in their financial decision-making. The activities cover the entire value chain from production to sales - so you drive cost control issues in the factories and also growth in sales. You will be part of the division's management team, as well as the group's financial team, and you will have staff responsibility for an international team.

The work includes, inter alia:

• Prepare and develop financial reports including analysis and financial follow-up
• Business partner to business managers with a focus on financial and business plans
• Monitoring of financial performance against budget
• Monitoring of profitability, costs, capital employed, cash flow - handling of deviations
• Improving ways of working and streamlining processes
• Leading and developing the financial team
• Supporting sales and project delivery with financial analysis
• Participate in group-wide projects when needed
• Coordinate audits

To be considered for the role, you should have at least 10 years of experience in similar roles in an international environment and an academic degree in finance. You should have experience in heavy industry and deep knowledge in controlling, accounting, financial processes and systems - you should be able to be operational on individual issues when needed. Project accounting, IFRS knowledge, SAP, ClickView and HFM skills are also essential. As a person, you are a team player with good communication skills, result-oriented, proactive and have a high energy level.
