Interim Purchasing Controller
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of interim Purchasing Controller at a large, well-established company headquartered in western Stockholm. We are looking for a driven, proactive individual who thrives in a hands-on role and has experience or a strong interest in sustainability, as well as experience in the automotive industry or project-intensive sectors such as construction, installation, and contracting.
Main duties:
- Financial Management: Budgeting, forecasting, KPI monitoring, and analysis of hundreds of millions in revenue and purchase volumes.
- Commercial Follow-Up: Analysis of bonus models, discount systems, and commercial terms, as well as monitoring of supplier agreements.
- Decision Support: Independently prepare high-quality decision-making materials for managers and the executive team.
- Operational Support: Frequent contact with regional managers and 800 project managers for system support and process monitoring.
- Development & Projects: Actively participate in the department’s four ongoing development projects and drive digitalization and change initiatives within procurement.
- Broader responsibilities: Responsibility for sustainability, project procurement, and category management.
To be eligible for the role:
- At least 10 years of experience in advanced budgeting, forecasting, and KPI analysis.
- A solid understanding of procurement processes, supplier management, and commercial contract terms.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel and Power BI.
- Experience with procurement systems and data warehouses.
- Documented experience in digital transformation and change management.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Experience with sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks (SBTi, CSRD, ESG, ESRS).
- Experience with Symbrio and Navision/Business Central is a plus.
- Experience in developing and conducting training programs is a plus.
